Lynton & Lynmouth, North Devon – Engines are roaring and excitement is mounting as the Lyn Valley Classic makes its triumphant return today, delivering an unmatched spectacle of horsepower, heritage, and heart in one of the UK’s most breathtaking locations.

 

Now firmly established as one of the most unique and picturesque charity motoring events in the South West – and possibly the country – the 2025 Lyn Valley Classic features over 400 stunning vehicles from across the automotive spectrum. From gleaming Supercars to cherished Classics, agricultural favourites and quirky rarities, this is a celebration of engineering, community, and pure passion.

 

Famous Faces Return to the Valley

After thoroughly enjoying the event last year, Jodie Kidd – racing driver, model and car enthusiast – and internationally renowned fashion designer Alice Temperley MBE are both returning to the Lyn Valley Classic in 2025. Their love for classic cars and support for community-driven events makes them a perfect match for the spirit of the show. Visitors are encouraged to keep an eye out – you might just spot them admiring a rare Lister Jaguar or chatting with fellow enthusiasts!

 

A VIP Welcome for Young Car Enthusiasts

This year’s event shines even brighter with the arrival of some very special VIP guests – the talented winners of a poster competition held at Lampard Community School. These creative young minds captured their favourite cars in, imaginative artworks, earning them exclusive access to the show. Look out for these young enthusiasts wearing their VIP lanyards and make them feel welcome – they are the future of the classic car scene, and we can’t wait to share the magic with them.

 

Exhibitors and visitors alike are encouraged to say hello, answer questions, and share stories with these inspiring students as they tour the showgrounds with eyes full of wonder and admiration.

Among this year’s showstoppers is one very familiar face – a legendary exhibitor who has travelled thousands of miles over the past 11 years to attend the Lyn Valley Classic. Showcasing three to four vehicles every year, his unwavering dedication has made him a beloved part of the event’s DNA. It’s no exaggeration to say he’s one of our absolute favourites, embodying the spirit and loyalty that make this show so special.

Following an amazing show in 2024 the Committee are pleased to set the date for next year - Sunday June 8th 2025.
 

2024 saw over 400 vehicles of every era being admired by thousands of visitors in Lynton and Lynmouth. Thousands of pounds have been raised and distributed to local and national charities.

Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the 2025 Lyn Valley Classic. Immerse yourself in a day of automotive wonder, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lynton and Lynmouth, all while supporting worthy causes.

 

Feast your eyes on a dazzling array of classic cars, tractors, supercars, motorbikes, and more. Each exhibit showcases the dedication and passion of their owners, who graciously pay to share their prized possessions with you. The event forgoes competition, as every entry holds a unique story and significance to its owner.

 

The Lyn Valley Classic, which began in 2014, was born from the vision of local business owners passionate about motorized vehicles and their desire to support local charities while highlighting the beauty of their twin villages. From a humble gathering of 12 cars, the Lyn Valley Classic has grown exponentially and is now supported by generous volunteers, sponsors, the Town Council, and exhibitors.

This event not only offers an incredible automotive experience but also holds great importance as a visitor attraction for Lynton & Lynmouth and the surrounding area. It boosts local tourism and trade, brings the community together, and helps showcase the stunning natural environment of this beautiful area.

 

The Lyn Valley's awe-inspiring coastline, rolling hills of the Exmoor National Park provide a spectacular setting that complements the event perfectly.
